My Life, The Musical

Dear Charlie,
I love to sing. Actually, it's probably an addiction. If something reminds me of a song, you can bet I'll be singing it for the next hour. I guess I get that from my dad, he will start singing the minute you say something remotely similar to a song. Here's a typical day for me:

-Wake up; probably singing something like "Good Morning" or something to that sort.

-Get ready for school; singing something that is fairly random.

-In the car for school; singing some slow ballad.

-At school; singing something that I've been into lately.

-Lunch; bugging my friends with random songs that go with what they're saying.

-More school; singing quietly to myself whenever I can.

-After school; waiting for mom/carpool to pick me up; sing to pass the time.

-Going home; listening to iPod, singing along with it.

-At home; more random singing

-Dinner; Dad usually sings something and gets it stuck in my head, causing it to get stuck in my head.

-Bed; usually singing one of the songs that was stuck in my head that day.

That's a typical day, but it varies from day to day. And that's My Life: The Musical

Welcome to My Blog!

Dear Charlie,
Well, my mom is an avid blogger, my dad occasionally blogs, and I like to rant about random things. So, I made this blog. I guess I should get all the ritual getting-to-know-more-about-me thigs down.
My name is Bethany. I'm a Catholic teenager who loves my faith very dearly. I'm often called a 'Catholic encyclopedia', which I consider to be a compliment.
I absolutely love to sing. Whether it's in the hallways, or in the shower, I'll be singing some tune. I also have been playing piano for eight years. One thing I really like doing is playing piano and singing at the same time. I recently started learning guitar.
I was homeschooled for four years, and I enjoyed it. I recently got put back into regular school, and am really trying to get adjusted to it.
One thing about me is that I am very contrary. During my first week of school, I recieved a paper I wrote back saying "Very nice work- I loved your contrarian approach on it". I proceeded to sound like a broken record saying "I am not contrary!" When I realized that I basically proved my point. I'm pretty stubborn as well. Which, in an odd way, can be a bit useful. It's also a bit of a pain.

So that's a very long description of me. I tend to go on and on about things, you've been warned.
Sincerely,
Bethany
